About the event

ladies! this one is for the mamas, the non-mamas, the soon-to-be mamas, and the planning-to-be-mamas! regardless of your journey and your choice, it is no secret that both black maternal and general black women's healthcare are problematic in this country. some of us have experienced firsthand the systemic barriers that prevent our healthcare from being prioritized. today, we are fighting back. we are having the necessary conversations that lead to better research and intentional care. join us in an informative discussion on the role of doulas and pelvic floor care. we will be led by stephanie jackson, m.ed., bsn, rn, healthcare professional and dedicated doula and dr. nijiera addison, pt, dpt, pelvic floor phyiscal therapist.
